HALLELUJAH!!!

I can eat WHEAT again!!!!! YAY!!!!

Now that Sarah has started solids her digestion has matured enough that I can eat wheat. That was a really long 3 months but it was all worth it. I even enjoyed a Cafe Rio salad yesterday for lunch AND ate the tortilla!

These are a few of my favorite things...

Sarah is now eating lots of solids. Here is her top five list!

1. sweet potatoes
2. rice cereal with milk or apple juice
3. bananas
4. carrots
5. zuchinni

Today's veggie of the day will be sweet peas...we'll let you know how it goes :)

Apres Swim Lesson Nap

After all the exercise that Sarah gets at her swimming lessons, she can get really worn out sometimes. She just started to fall asleep while I was holding her at about lunchtime. She has been sleeping really light recently and I was worried about her waking up if I removed my arm. So she slept and I read for a while, a little uncomfortably. Eventually I too succumbed to fatigue and was captured on camera with Sarah asleep.
Building happy memories like these is a blessing and being able to share them with our family and friends is even more so.

Carrots for Dinner

Stacey took this video while feeding the baby at the same time. She is getting pretty versatile. On the menu were steamed carrots, pured in a blender with more than just a dash of apple juice. As you can tell from the noises that Sarah is making she rather likes this entree.
She really does crack us up with those noises when she is eating. She was even making them while we were chatting to Nana on the phone today. I guess she is just a happy little girl who gets quite excited about who knows what. In any case its CUTE!

Going Swimming

Stacey booked some swimming classes (a parent and tots class) for Sarah a couple of weeks ago, and they have finally be able to go. The following are pictures of them preparing to go swimming. we haven't been able to coordinate our schedules to the point where I can go and get some pics of the girls swimming, well mom standing in the water and Sarah being moved around in the pool. She hasn't quite gotten to the stage where she is swimming yet.

Stacey and Sarah ready to go to swim class. The hat is there to make sure that there can be no baby sunburn. Its big enough to ensure that there is no possibility of baby suntan either!

Sarah practicing her swimming strokes on a blanket. Actually just playing with toys waiting for mommy to get ready.

There is a big emphasis in class on the little ones kicking legs and getting ready to move around in the water on their own. So Sarah is trying to kick the camera in order to prove she should get more freedom in the pool, maybe when she is older.

Tummy Time

Funny Face

Just in the last few days Sarah has started making a really funny face. We tried to capture it, but it turned out kind of fuzzy. I can't even describe it but it's hysterical! She'll even copy us if we make it to her. She makes it all the time, we call it her Zoolander face :)

Night before last, Owen and I peeked in Sarah's room to check on her before we went to bed. She had fallen asleep with her arms tucked behind her head like she was hanging out, relaxing. It was really funny. Owen caught a picture of her doing this while she was sitting on my lap!
