Christmas in Vegas!

We have had such a wonderful Christmas this year. We are so thankful to have spent it with my mom in Henderson, she made things so nice for us when otherwise it would have been a very meager Christmas on our own. Our families have been so generous to us this year and we want to say "THANK YOU!" with all our hearts!

Thank you, thank you, thank you Nana and Grandad (in Scotland), GreatGrandma Lawson (in England), Grammy and Grampy (in California), GreatGrandma Pope (also in California) and Grandma (in Henderson) we love you all SO much!

The girls absolutely loved Christmas. Sarah can point out all the pictures of "baby Jesus" and while she still doesn't figure where Santa plays in with all the other holiday figures, there will be Christmases enough for that in the future. We have been fortunate to Owen's brother Danny here with us over the holidays and he has been so fun to get to know and the girls just love their Uncle Danny. He has been a great babysitter for us while I have made a trip up to Utah and back already and we hope he is enjoying his time here with us.

I know this is side ways and fuzzy but this was Sarah ALL morning...in her Snow White dress up, her electric tooth brush in her mouth sitting atop her lion. Hysterical!

What a wonderful Christmas!

Birthday dinner

So, I turned 29 last Sunday...the real 29, I'm not just saying that, but I may be tempted to say this again next year :) Owen and I went out to dinner to Guadalajara Grill at Sunset Station and I just have to tell people they have the BEST STEAK EVER! I had the fajitas and Owen had the steak burrito and oh my gosh people, I can't even describe how amazing it was. If you are local you have to check it out, you won't be disappointed. Or, come visit us here in Henderson and we'll take you! I love mexican food and this was certainly the best I've had. The virgin strawberry margaritas are great too, and the salsa bar, seriously SO good!

Am I not supposed to mention Guadalajara paid me to say this? just kidding!

These are videos that I have finally figured out how to upload! Some of them are from a while ago but we thought we'd post them so the family can see how big the girls have gotten. You'll have to ignore my boring commentary :)

September 2009-Cecily was teething and we didn't know it! --you can skip this one, kind of boring unless you're a grandparent :)


August 2009-She promptly got a bath after this...

One year ago, this month December 2008 an oldie but a goodie. Side note- Cecily (at 5 months) is now wearing these jeans that Sarah (almost 1 year) is wearing in the video!


October 2009-Sarah got this spider ring trick or treating and was totally fascinated with it, I personally was happy when it got lost...I don't want her picking up spiders!


November 2009-After discovering Cecily's teeth, we've added her teeth brushing to our bedtime routine! Don't think she minded it too much.
