We want to wish all our family and friends a very happy holiday season. We are so grateful for you all and consider ourselves very blessed indeed!
This is what we've been up to this month...We do have Christmas cards going out this year but because of Ben's RSV, family pictures were delayed and they won't be sent out until January. Consider them New Years cards :)
Owen has finished his third semester at ODU. Yay! We have dad back for a few weeks!! He had a lot of papers he was writing there at the end of the semester and we're glad he gets to take a break. He received excellent grades in all of his classes and we are very proud of him. Owen was in a car accident on Sunday. He sustained no major injuries, nor did the Missionaries he was with, but our Elantra was totalled. He was T-boned by an SUV, but fortunately at slow speeds so everyone was ok. Its just hard that to no fault of our own we now are out a car and will need to go car shopping! No fun, especially this time of year with so much going on. Not to mention dealing with insurance companies...arrgg!
I have been taking care of sick kids this month! The girls have had colds and Ben has made a full recovery from RSV. The girls and I enjoyed decorating the house for Christmas and they have been excellent treat makers! Its been a few months leading up to this but the Williamson family (thanks to me!) are now Real Foodies! We only eat local, in season, free range, organic, traditionally prepared food. This is kind of a big thing for us so I will give it its own blog post at a later time. But, we are certainly healthier and happier for it.
Sarah Genevieve is almost 4! I can't believe how much of a little lady she is. She is extremely articulate and has the vocabulary of most average American teenagers. She has a ton of energy and is a very happy natured girl. She loves her sister and brother and is a GREAT helper, always asking if she can do things for them. Her desire to serve others and make them happy is so sweet.
Cecily is our brave and adventurous one. She has no fear, much to our dismay. But she still is our mellow, sweet natured, loves to sleep and snuggle with mom and dad little girl. She loves to play with her sister and is always up for her antics! They are inseperable and the best of sidekicks. Cecily's hair is finally long enough for me to do fun things and I'm loving it! She has the most gorgeous ginger ringlets, I hope she knows someday how very special that is. She is one of a kind! (well, outside of Ireland or Scotland!)
Ben is such a good baby. We are so blessed! I will admit, I was a little worried about having a boy but he is my HEART! I never could have imagined how wonderful it would be to have a son. To say he is a good eater is an understatement, this kid is hungry all the time! And he's huge, we think he's going to be a tall boy. He's been sleeping in our room, well, in our bed mostly but he's now in his own room and doing really well. And I'm getting more sleep for it although I will say I'm sad that the newborn phase is over. I just love new babies and am trying to soak up every second of Ben being small.
We hope you are all well and also enjoying the holidays! May the Lord bless you and guide you in your endevors this year! We certainly are so very thankful for our Savior, for the opportunity to remember Him and celebrate his birth. We are so blessed and grateful for our wonderful families and friends!!
Merry Christmas
