This morning I hear,

SG- Hi Benjamin!

Ceci- No!

SG- Hi Benjamin!!!!

Ceci- NO!

SG- HI BENJAMIN!!!

Stacey- Vivi! Why are you yelling at him?

Ceci- NOOO!!! He's NOT Bichimin, he's my Benny Boy!!!

Stacey- Girls! Leave your brother alone. Ceci, let's have a chat...

The average man will have around 500 haircuts in a lifetime. I love that I get to give Ben at least the first hundred or so, hopefully more :) I love you my sweet Benny Boy!

Ben's Blessing

Hopefully these picture load the right direction! Sorry if they don't, I'll have to work on it :)

Ben was blessed on October 16th by his dad. Ben was only 2 weeks old but we wanted to do it while my mom was still in town so she share the day with us. Owen gave him a beautiful blessing and Ben did great, slept the whole time. My stepmom, Carolyn, found his darling outfit for event. He looked so sweet. He looked like a little Amish baby in his bonnet but it was too cute!

Thank you BabyBellePhotography for these beautiful pictures of our new babe. I love these photos because it is a vivid reminder of that special day for me and our family. Such a victory. Such a miracle. Such a perfect baby.

Nell, our midwife, is in the second to last pic. She was telling me how well I'd done :)

Linda, our doula, is in the last pic. She was a great pushing coach and picture taker there at the end. Thank you Linda!

My mom was supposed to be there with us but things went too fast. Sorry mom. But thank you for taking such good care of the girls!

Ben- picture post

There's me *before*...we just got to our suite after being checked, 6cm, this was me in between contractions, actually feeling pretty good and getting excited for the main event 15 mins later!! My lips were super dry from all my labor breathing, hence my non-existant lips. We didn't manage to snag a family pic at the hospital, bummer. These were the few from my phone, I still have Owen's to upload as well as some from our doula's blog. The picture of Ben and Cecily is special because it was the first time she was interested in holding him, day 3. Now she says "mommy, I take!" meaning she wants to hold him, all the time :)
