Keep us in your prayers

We are waiting to hear back about BYU law school this year and will have an answer back by April 15th, although we're hoping it's sooner. We really want to start this year but if not, our plan B is just as good. Owen and I both have good, stable jobs and waiting a year to go would certainly put us in a better financial situation, not to mention the time Owen would have to spend with his little girls before starting a rigorous academic schedule.

We are certainly excited about the opportunity to possibly start this year so keep us in your prayers and we'll keep you updated!

1. Took my sick baby to the doctor (see the post below)

4. Called in a favor to our new ward (that was hard for me to do, it would have been easier to call a friend from our old neighborhood)
5. Prepped a wig for Thursday's photoshoot
6. Caught up with a friend
7. Called my mom 3 times (this is a rarity)
8. Discovered that Sarah REALLY likes cream cheese

Did I mention...

YES! Sarah is walking! She's been walking for a month now but I forgot to post it officially. We also didn't mention it because 2 weeks ago we went down to Vegas to visit my mom and wanted to surprise her with the news. But now Sarah is running around everywhere and loves walking like the big kids do.

Also, Sarah has croup. We took her to the doctor yesterday. Poor baby sound like a seal pup barking. But I'm just glad it's not RSV. She's feeling pretty miserable but she's been extra cuddly which is nice for moms. Hopefully she'll get over this soon.

Saturday at Cabella's

Thank you to Dad and Carolyn for the opportunity for Owen, Sarah and I to have a fun Saturday outing at Cabella's in Lehi. Owen had a graduation gift certificate burning a hole in his pocket and we all went up and enjoyed shopping. Owen's purchases included...a "Night Sky" version of Monopoly (he's a self proclaimed astro-geek), a really nice pair of Colombia sandles which will be great this summer (he wore out his old ones), a great lunch for his family (no elk or buffalo this time, we stuck to chicken and steak) and lots of treats! As we were walking around Sarah found herself a soft horse stuffed animal and carried it around with her the rest of the day. She just held it and cuddled it, so cute! By the time we were checking out, she had slobbered all over it so her horsey also made it home. She now sleeps with it every night in her crib! It's her night-night horsey :) Thanks again family, we love you!!!

So, to wrap up the birthday extravaganza...Sarah had 3 parties (only because of scheduling friends, family and work) and had a super fun time. And ate a TON of cake, whoops. She got lots of books, clothes, toys, a handmade quilt from Grammy, a puppy named Klondike from mom and dad (stuffed not real!) and a kitchenette set from the Hill's complete with toy food! We had such a fun time. We love you Sarah, but don't expect 3 parties next year!!!
