The Elusive Piggy-Nubbins

I say elusive because we don't see them for long...Sarah's hair is finally long enough to do something with! It's so exciting, being a hair person myself, to actually be able to do my daughter's hair in the morning.
The only problem is, she doesn't leave them in for long. Give it an hour or so...sometimes we can get through most of church, but she pulls them right out :( I'm learning to be patient with her, and hopefully soon she'll learn to leave it alone.

Cecily's Blessing Day!

Owen had the opportunity to bless our new baby girl July 5th surrounded by our wonderful friends! Thank you so much for coming and participating in the wonderful event! We love you Hoshinos, Pattersons, Tennys, Santoses, and Ledeks! And a big thank you to Katherine, Fillipo, Donelle and Kim for spending this family time with us.

Sad baby

SISTERS!!

Colonial Uprising Day

We had a wonderful 4th of July weekend although we don't have the pictures to show for it. With a new baby to hold I can't take as many pictures these days :( and no one else in the family is very good at taking them :)

We had a really nice picnic at the Hill's home. Paul BBQ'd teryaki chicken and we all made salads and sides. We had a pie making contest this year and I totally forgot to get a picture of it but I won for the third time in a row!!! Next year I'm sure the neighbors will ask that we're not invited :)

We headed home early so we could all get a decent night's rest for Sunday, Cecily's blessing day! We did some sparklers out front, well, Sarah and Owen did. Cecily and I stayed on the grass. We had a fun 4th and lots of family in town for the blessing, so it was a good day.

Big Changes...

So, some of our friends have already heard but we wanted to post it and let everyone know that the Williamson family is MOVING to Vegas!!

After looking at countless options we feel that this is the best choice for us just now. Owen will be applying to PhD programs later this year and we need to save our money so we can go! Getting his doctorate degree is something Owen has always wanted to do and I want to help him achieve this goal so we are going to be moving in with my mom in Henderson NV so we can squirrel money away.

I will be keeping my job at the Hale Theater in Orem. I will do all the design work and most of the styling at home and drive up (with Cecily) about every 6 weeks for dress rehearsals. This will be a sacrifice but I love my job and it has been a huge blessing for our family.

Owen will be starting up his own company in Henderson, something he could not do in Provo. Highland Movers LLC will be open next month for business!! If you know anyone that needs help moving in the Vegas area, send them our way :) or if you know someone that needs a job, Owen will be hiring the first and second weeks of August.

This move is bittersweet for us. We know it is what we need to do for our family just now but we are really sad to leave so many of our good friends. This is where Owen and I dated, he got his Master's degree, we got our first apartment, had our first two babies and Provo will always be a fond place we remember.

We leave July 30th, I'll have the same phone number, Owen's will be changing to a local for work. We're both on facebook and love that blogging keeps us in touch with so many friends!!!
