i was so excited when i found trader joes in virginia beach. i talked owen into letting me get this basil plant...well, it didn't look like this when i bought it. i can't ever seem to keep plants alive! i water it, give it sunlight...any suggestions???

in other news, owen landed a killer internship at the joint forces staff college at norfolk naval base. he's really enjoying it and we're hopeful that once he's a citizen it will turn into a great job.

the girls are growing like weeds. sarah genevieve is super chatty, sweet, emotional, and very possesive of her things and when she wants to share its on her terms. for instance, yesterday i gave them both some applesauce, cecily had already finished hers and was off playing and sarah vieve felt inclined to share her's with her sister but insisted that she spoon feed it to cecily like a baby, funny girl.

cecily is very vocal now and can hold her own quite well with sarah. her favorite tactic is hair pulling, and growling in a very intimidating way which makes sarah cry...but more often than not, she had it coming.

i'm doing good. cutting a ton of hair which is so great! i love the couponing out here, so many doubles and triples! i just finished hunger games and started reading catching fire...i'll share my thoughts on this later...

we had a really nice visit with owens parents. they where with us for a few weeks and we all had a great time. it was ivan's first time meeting cecily in person! we went to the beach a ton, shopped, ate out or got take out, kim taught me to knit and jam...so much fun!!! pictures to come.

i'm using a new app on my phone to blog so it may take me some time to figure it out, how to do more than one picture and stuff. i'll be asking *santa* for a computer so that will make blogging, couponing, picture sharing so much easier.

I feel so bad I have't blogged about this sooner...things have been busy around here though! I hope I'm not forcing Cecily into her "middle child" position by her lack of pictures, blog entries, etc. We just do what we can when we can.
